School of Architecture student dies

A student in Syracuse University’s School of Architecture died on Thursday due to an existing illness, the university announced on Friday.

A student in Syracuse University’s School of Architecture died on Thursday, the university announced on Friday.

David Heinrich of Arlington Heights, Illinois, was studying architecture, according to an email to the university community distributed by Dolan Evanovich, senior vice president of the division of enrollment and the student experience. He has senior standing, according to SU’s directory.

“Chancellor Kent Syverud and I join the entire University community in extending our condolences to his family, friends and all who knew him. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of those grieving this loss,” Evanovich said in the email.
